In particular the City can regulate the operation of cell antennas by limiting the effective radiated power (ERP) to 150 microwatts per square meter. On December 13, 2019 the AT&T shell company New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC filed an application for an individual site permit (ISP) for 5 locations. The City had already approved the locations in the Master License Agreement on August 28, 2019 but the company still needed to apply for permits.
The addresses where the company proposes to install cell antennas are all in Elk Grove.
